OUR STORY

Woofie started with a simple goal. Create a dog gear that was comfortable, durable, cute designs, and cute colors. After years of trying different harnesses, we kept running into the same problem.

The ones that fit well had boring designs or basic colors, the cute ones felt cheap and didn't last, and the high quality options often came with a price tag that was hard to justify.

As a designer and illustrator, I eventually decided to create the products with the designs I wished existed. Products that combined thoughtful design, durable, and a little bit of fun.

Hi, I'm Mikaela. I'm a designer, illustrator, and dog mom.

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. If I'm not working on designs, you'll usually find me hanging out with my pups and taking way too many photos of them. Woofie is really a combination of everything I love.

Design. Creativity. Dogs.

The joy of making something that makes people say, "That's so cute!". Every pattern starts with a sketch. Every collection has a story behind it.

...and every product is created with the hope that it becomes a part of someone's favorite memories with their dog.

Meet Mushu.

The best-est boy.

Mushu was our first dog-baby as a couple, and the first dog in our friend group. He was goofy, super smart, and always made sure our life was never boring.

In 2024, Mushu was diagnosed with a disease, and in December we had to say goodbye.

Woofie was supposed to launch in 2024, but for a long time, I wasn't sure how to talk about Woofie without talking about him because the truth is that Woofie only exists because of him.

He inspired the first products, the first designs, and the reason why I even started this journey in the first place.
